Does anyone know if it’s possible to leave a voicemail message without having to wait for a mobile subscriber to pick up? At times I will get a VM notification on my phone even though I had full bars and could answer the call, but my phone never rang!

The home + wake button combo does not work for the lock screen. Please leave a comment if you know how.

Busy busy busy

Hey all, I’ve just been really, really busy. I’ve got a few reviews that still need to be typed up and as you can see, earlier today I uploaded an iPhone optimize version of the site. Apple Mail Tip - Email font sizes

The one thing that has annoyed me about Apple Mail is that there are many times I would get an e-mail from random people and the font size of the text would be around 6-8 points. I’d always have to hit cmd + to increase the font size to where I could read it.

Here’s how I solved the problem:

Close Mail and open up terminal and type the following:

defaults write com.apple.mail MinimumHTMLFontSize 13

Hit enter and then launch Mail. Problem solved!

Gmail Downage. HTML View works

If you haven’t noticed, Gmail was down for close to an hour. Twitter was going nuts with updates from around the globe about the outage.

Flip Mino & iMovie

I got a Flip Mino video re order the other day. It’s a cool little device that let’s me record and plugs right into my computer via USB to retrieve the footage. The file format is .avi.

Problem I am having is importing that footage into iMovie to throw some title screens and other effects into it. The file does not import

Testing out Jott on the blog. I’m currently updating the iPhone trying to get it to work again because it is not letting me run any of the iPhone apps that I’ve got from the App Store. This is really irritating. Okay, end testing of Jott.

Sending a vCard via the iPhone

Anyone know how to send a contact’s vCard on the iPhone? If this feature doesn’t exist, Apple employees add that to your feature list!
